1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mason Canvas, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Mason Canvas is an AI-powered portrait generation service. Users upload photos to train personalized AI models, then generate themed portrait images using those models.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Mason Canvas. Minors are not permitted to use this service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Accounts
You may create only one account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Prohibited Content
Users may NOT use Mason Canvas to generate, distribute, or store any of the following:
(a) Sexually explicit, pornographic, or nude content
(b) Content depicting minors in any context
(c) Non-consensual imagery — using someone else's likeness without their permission
(d) Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
(e) Deepfake content intended to deceive, defame, or harass
(f) Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
Mason Canvas employs automated content moderation systems to detect and block prohibited content. These filters operate during image generation and may prevent certain prompts or outputs from being processed.
Violations of this section result in immediate account termination without refund.
Mason Canvas reserves the right to review and remove any generated content at any time and without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the photos you upload to Mason Canvas.
You receive a license to use AI-generated images for personal and commercial purposes, subject to compliance with these terms. You may not claim that AI-generated images are real photographs in commercial contexts where such distinction matters.
Mason Canvas retains no ownership of user-generated content.
7. Credits and Payments
All payments are processed by our payment partner, acting as the Merchant of Record.
- Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period.
- Top-up credits purchased separately do not expire.
- No refunds are issued for consumed credits. Refund requests for unused credits are handled by our payment partner. See our Refund Policy for details.
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of Mason Canvas is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Mason Canvas is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, image quality, or likeness accuracy. AI-generated content may contain visual artifacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected results.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Mason Canvas and its operators for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Mason Canvas in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the application settings or by contacting support.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the timelines described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Mason Canvas after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
